What suburban maryland bird is this?

i live in suburban maryland and there is a bird i hear almost every day, usually around dusk. its call sounds like "whooo who who," but i have listened to several owl calls of owls around the area but i can't seem to find a match. i know it is a long shot, but can anyone help me identify it? thanks!
